Meservey Iowa is located about 30 miles southwest of Mason City in North Iowa. The city was founded in 1886 after a railroad line was built through the city. The name came from the Meservey Brothers who were employees of the railroad. Even though Merservey is a small town with a population around 250 people, the western portion of the town was called Kausville. Legally this area is still known as the Kausville Addition.
Meservey has its own library allowing residents to check out books and movies or use the libraries free wifi.
In town there is a local lounge for a meal out. You can also do your banking or get a haircut at the local salon. The city also has a few parks with a playground that the kids can play at.
West Fork Community School District consist of preschool through 12th grade. The school offers a wide range of activities and is able to accommodate any needs you may have.
